“The Water Dance style was inspired when I was visiting Harbind Hot Springs studying aquatic bodywork. I received a session where I was guided under water in a fluid and nurturing motion pattern. Afterwards, I went home to my studio to capture this healing experience into a glass sculpture. The design of this sculpture started from two waves that were building to then wrap around each other. During the process of sculpting, I realized that these two waves created a heart shape with each other, and thus modeled the nurturing essence and healing power of water. ” — DAVID WIGHT
