“The Neptune style came to me in a dream. In the dream I was shown how to pull the glass out and around and loop it back like a figure 8, which was a motion I was not previously sure how to execute. All Neptune sculptures have an “above and below” feel where below there are portholes that intrigue the imagination and above there is usually a wave that rises up out of the water. Within this sculpture there is an essence that captures the whimsical and playful imagination of dreams which balances the powerful aspects of water in motion. ” — DAVID WIGHT
