The beauty of the little girls in The Newest Angel, perched high on the wall out of reach of the boy below, says a lot about the difference between girls and boys. He is probably viewed more as a holy terror than an angel; there is no halo on him.

When I first worked on this layout, I did not like the wall. After a year of searching, I found this setting in England by the historical home of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.--Steve Hanks
